           Acceptance Testing Definition
            Testing done by the customer at his premises before accepting the project.

        Types of Acceptance testing
         
        Alpha testing

• Testing done by the company in the presence of the customer at the company premises.
• Alpha testing takes place at the developers sites, involves testing  of the operational system by the internal staff ,before it is released to the external customers.

        Beta testing

•  Here customer gives the application to the end user to use it..
   He will decide whether to accept or reject application based
  on the end user feedback..
•   Testing done by end users..
•   Beta testing is also called as user acceptance testing..
•   Each acceptance test represented some expected result
     from the system..
•   customers are responsible  for verifying correctness of the
  acceptance tests and reviewing  the test  scores to decide which
   failed tests are of highest priority.
